THE BUILDING AWARDS EVENT

On November 3rd, 2008, from 3:00 – 5:30, the GBCA will celebrate the 12th Annual Construction Excellence Awards with a program and reception at Suzanne Roberts Theater. The awards will honor exceptional building projects, project teams and safety programs in Philadelphia’s construction market.

Together we will commemorate GBCA members, architects, and owners for excellence in the construction process, innovative solutions and client satisfaction.

All GBCA members and guests are invited to register, especially those companies who entered the competition including project teams, architects, owners, subcontractors and everyone who helped to make the projects successful.

We are excited to announce that the 2008 winners will be announced at the event.

SUZANNE ROBERTS THEATER

The Philadelphia Theatre Company’s new home is part of the Symphony House mixed-use development on the Avenue of the Arts.  The new state-of-the-art theatre includes an acoustically isolated auditorium and stage house, 362-seat theatre, full stage house, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.  Both the theatre box office and two-floor lobby run along Broad Street, and with its large glazed openings, provides street access to the box office.  The theatre contains a second stage, rehearsal space, and support facilities.
